Miscellaneous Computer Problems Problems I've fixed

Every so often I'm contacted by a client with an odd problem whose solution isn't immediately obvious.  Sometimes I can fix it by a mixture of intuition and trial & error.  Sometimes I use a search engine to see if I can find an answer on the internet. This page is going to be a selection of problems that I have solved one way or another.  If trial and error fixes the problem I usually finish by saying to my client: "Don't ask - I've no idea what I've done!" Windows Address Book won't display contacts Windows address book doesn't display your contacts but if you search for a specific contact the details are found. This is how I fixed the problem. Outlook Express messages sent but stay in outbox Outlook Express sends messages but they stay in the outbook and appear to be unsent. This is how I fixed the problem.
