Don't worry, this beginners computing course starts right at the beginning.

It explains how to use a mouse, what you can see on the screen and introduces you gently to some basic jargon.

It then teaches you basic word-processing functions such as text appearance (size, font, bold, italic, underline) and text alignment.

It explains how to save, print and open documents.

How to turn off the computer.

How to alter the margins of your page and change the page from portrait to landscape.

When you feel confident to produce a letter you then move on to using WordArt and ClipArt to add some fun to your documents.

The course progresses to designing a poster and then to producing a leaflet.

There is a module on the use of document templates and using the computer to print envelopes and labels.
